5 EASY STEPS TO SALON-PERFECT MANIS
Clip 90% into the desired shape and file the last 10% of the shape.
Remove old polish and gently push back your cuticles with your thumb. Carefully buff away excess skin and smooth any ridges or peels in light, circular motions. Dip every nail (again!) in the Remover Pot before painting.
POPPY + PAINT
Anchor your arm and hand on a flat surface. Paint in 2-3 thin coats. Your first coat should be streaky! Let each coat dry for at least 5-10 minutes before you apply the next coat. Any mistakes? Your Clean Up Brush (dipped in the Remover Pot) will fix any stray polish that you want gone.
Apply a thin layer of your Super Glossy Top Coat to make your mani last.
Once your nails are dry, apply 2-3 clicks of Cuticle Serum every day to your cuticles and sides of your nails.
Our most forgiving shades to paint with. If you’re new to DIY manis, this is the perfect place to start.
Our medium-difficulty shades are opaque with full coverage in about 2 coats.
Our pastel and darker shades require a little extra practice & finesse to perfect in 2-3 coats. Don’t forget to paint super thin coats!

I was a hesitant because the color seems a neon on the website. I have SD and like it muchly but it's SO dark the purple pigment gets a bit lost. Bold & Unshaken is a rich violet- on par with LD and WKF in saturation. Decent coverage in two coats but perfect in three. Now that I can "see" it in person I'm picking up some of other Summer 2020 shades I was scared to try.
The color is beautiful, the brush is great, the formula is smooth as butter BUT the polishes are not pigmented. It takes 3 coats which is not ideal. The 3 coats don’t look goopy but I would rather not do 3 coats as it lengthens dry time.
Thank you so much for sending this feedback to us. It means everything as we continue to grow! I'll make sure to pass this along to the appropriate team. We're a small team, so rest assured your input goes all the way to the top. Please let us know if you have any questions or need anything else.
The polish is remarkably easy to apply. The color is lighter than I expected but pretty! Customer service was helpful and easy to work with when I made a mistake in my initial order.
Love this color I got so many compliments my first time wearing it. Invigorated my love for DIY nails
It goes on smoothly and I love the brush; wide and covering.
One of my favorite Olive & June colors I own—a delightfully bright and powerful purple! BUT, after a couple days the color starts fading around the edges, without fail, no matter how many applications/re-applications/top coats. It's just so pretty though!
gorgeous color and application is so easy!
I’ve had the polish on for nearly a week and it looks great. The color is outstanding. It’s definitely my new favorite. I had to use three thin coats to get solid coverage and then the top coat. I can rarely keep a mani more than a week because my nails grow so quickly. Having a brand that looks good for a week (as opposed to a few days) is exactly what I was looking for. I immediately ordered more colors and I’ll be retiring my gel colors and LED light.
Loved the whole summer collection that this came in. I was over the moon with all the colors and still am!! Just this one seems to fade with sun exposure and time. I bet it is just a tricky pigment. I painted this on my toenails and I noticed after about the 5th day the color seemed to almost warp. Super happy with olive and June though. This may just be a tricky one.
