I never edit my pics when I post, but I do always try to find the best lighting and backdrop, which helps make my photos look more professional….but that’s not always the case. This pic I took because I just LOVE Southwest from oliveandjune quick dry line and I painted it as a quick hold before I do my full mani in a couple days. As a result, I didn’t take the extra time to try and get that perfect shot. So why am I sharing it? Because we creators tend to make everything look easy and perfect 24/7, but we are still human! We still have bad paint jobs, still have lazy moments and I just wanted to share that! Plus, you’ll notice my nails don’t look as great as they usually do. I’ve been rehabbing them for a few months now due to a melted candle accident that burned my nail beds and skin right under my nails. This has caused thin, brittle nails, ridges, and the skin under my nails to harden and lift. So I’ve been constantly clipping old growth and using many nail treatment products in between my protective nail enhancements. Of course HYDRATING a ton as well.
