How to Use
Use your nail clippers to achieve your desired length and shape, smooth out the edges with your nail file. Gently push back cuticles with your thumbnail and use your buffer to smooth them away. - Hi Ginger! Olive & June polishes are formulated to last one week (or more!). The dry time for the polishes is similar to a typical nail polish. - How long is drying time with this polish? I've tried the static nails polish and like that it can be touchable dry in about 10 minutes after last coat. I'm still careful with them for an hour or so but I haven't had issues with sheet marks on them if I do it later at night. Just wanted to check since I'm always on the look out for long lasting nail polishes and your new fall colors look awesome.
- Hi Kelley! We recommend waiting 5-10 minutes in between each coat! If you like to paint at night, Top Coating in the morning removes your sheet creases!
- Hi! Just got my kit. I’ve noticed this polish is really sticky - first coat on and it was thick and dragging unevenly on my nail with some clumpy spots and other bare ones. It was impossible to make it smooth. I prepped my nails too. Are your polishes meant to be shaken? Mixed? This seems unusual from the reviews I’m hearing.
- Our polish is thicker than most. This is due to a high resin content with a built-in base coat that helps make it last on your nails. Once you get the hang of the formula, you'll be a pro! We recommend applying REALLY thin coats. Don't panic if your first two coats are streaky. We actually encourage this! Especially for pastels which can be tricky because they're so opaque. Applying three thin coats is always better - don't stress trying to make it opaque in 2 coats because the polish will be too thick. We also recommend waiting as long as possible in between coats. When you apply wet polish on top of super wet polish, the polish will stick to itself and gloop up - not fun! Think of your first layer as the foundation of a house - you want your base layer to be as dry and strong as possible. This will cut down on the overall drying time, too. Finally, apply a thin top coat for a perfect finish! We hope that helps! Your happiness is very important to us.
