Use your nail clippers to achieve your desired length and shape, smooth out the edges with your nail file. Gently push back cuticles with your thumbnail and use your buffer to smooth them away. A super light, gentle buff is all you need. Don't overbuff, so as not to unnecessarily thin out your nails.

"I’ve been switching up my beauty products and only buying cruelty free brands. I wasn’t sure what to expect with Olive & June, but I’m so impressed. The polish wears well, much longer than other popular brands. The polish has a “plumping” effect and my nails look so shapely and healthy. Plus, the shine is unlike anything I’ve seen with any other polish."
"This was an amazing deal! I’m new to doing my own manicures with regular polish. I got a couple long lasting polishes and quick dry. I also added a nail strengthener to my order I would TOTALLY recommend that it fixed my flaky nails and really lengthened the time of my manicure. Honestly, the long lasting dries quickly so I would recommend that over the quick dry. Long lasting just stays so much longer on my nails obv lol. I love the remover it doesn’t dry out my nails/hands and I didn’t realize that it actually preps you nails for the manicure too. The clipper is different than most I’ve used but I like it. It cuts your nails straight instead of giving a rounded edge but I actually like that better! I just file the corners and I get a perfect nail shape. The colors are all beautiful. Would recommend this set to anyone!! The tool to help hold the bottle has really helped me paint my non-dominant hand too. The photos included is a 12 days BEATEN up manicure but lasted pretty long."

"I love all the fall colors in this kit and the manicure goodies that come with it are very good quality. I just finished putting on Actually Dramatic on 10 fingers and Martini Chrome on my ring fingers. It literally looks like I just stepped out the salon! It includes a great variety of colors as we are just starting to enter the fall season. The polish goes on so nicely! And...you can't beat the price!!"
"The set is great! I don’t really understand the poppy because even with the cap off the brush I could not put it on. But that’s no big deal to me! I was sent the incorrect color and Olive and June fixed the problem right away!"
"Im honestly shocked what a difference the poppy makes. I was useless before with my left and now both sides look almost the same. My nails are extremely thin and brittle and while it is much easier now to maintain them with constant paint, no system will heal/fix them. The paint lasts about a week before it starts to chip which is also impressive. But the best thing about this whole system is the added dry drops. Game changer. Who needs the gel system when these drops dry seal your nails in like 2min. Amazing. While I obviously wish the cuticle serum was nail changing, it was never the sell for me anyway. I'm just glad to keep my short thin nails in constant decor that looks nearly professional."

"The mani system was easy to use and understand for girls who really don't have much experience with doing their own nails or even go to salons. I'm pretty tough on my nails and the polish lasted way longer than most. Lost one star because the cuticle pusher was referenced in the instructions but no included in the starter kit. Also the cute bag it came in broke after like 2 uses. The products themselves are great though! I will order more colors in the future."
"I love Olive and June products. However, their shipper is AWFUL! My package sat for 7 days at local facility before it went out for delivery. O&J was cooperative when I brought it to their attention, but if you want it quick order from Amazon or shop local to see if you can find it."
