Use your nail clippers to achieve your desired length and shape, smooth out the edges with your nail file. Gently push back cuticles with your thumbnail and use your buffer to smooth them away. A super light, gentle buff is all you need. Don't overbuff, so as not to unnecessarily thin out your nails.

"a great color but definitely NOT cool toned. I am a very warm skin tone & this color pulls a very bright warm-neutral tone on me… which would not happen with a truly blue undertoned color(especially contrasting to my very warm skin tone). it is neutral at best. it is a beautiful color & applies wonderfully even though it’s over a year old. it is great for my skin tone personally but definitely not categorized correctly."

"This polish is a gorgeous bright red and I had full coverage in two coats. However.. They weren’t kidding when they said this nail polish has ~slightly~ blue undertones. I’ve been looking for a polish to match MAC Ruby Woo and ABH American Doll lipsticks, but unfortunately this polish reads as a true neutral and not cool-toned at all. I should have trusted the product photos over the description (and reviews saying it would match). The tone difference is much worse in real life than in my pic so they look kinda bad together. If you’re looking for a blue-toned bright red, specifically, this probably isn’t the one."
