"I was over the moon when the builder gel was released. My natural nails don't grow out, and I like my nails fairly long, so the thought of extending them myself without breaking the bank or damaging my nails with glue was compelling. As a learning curve was expected, I gave the builder gel extension process five separate tries over a few months. Each time, the process was difficult, incredibly long, and never panned out as the instructions suggest. Regardless of how I manipulate the forms or file my nails, there is always a gap between the underside of my nail and the top of the form, meaning that gel seeps through and cures underneath my natural nail. I've tried all the popouts, bending the forms into a steeper arc to fit my nail, and even bending my nails to lay flatter, and this gap does not go away. I wanted these to work so badly. But they just don't fit my nails right, and the process is too arduous."

"Wish you could buy just the size needed, not an assortment. Also wish they had a size smaller. The extra inner parts that you can remove to make them smaller don't easily pop out like the initial piece does. The forms are a bit thick and don't easily peel away from the builder gel. They're also a little thick. Too much like cardboard/paper. Love the actual design and concept. Wish the guides had more shapes than just round."
