Great results with a learning curve

"Prep! Prep! Prep! You really have to commit the time to preparing your nails and cuticles. My first two DIY gel manicures didn’t go so well. One peeled off in the first two days and the other it hadn’t prepared my cuticles enough and the edges of the gel pulled up. I watched the tutorial videos and honed my skills and now I get a gel manicure at home that lasts and looks fantastic! I’ve used the gel polish and builder polish. The builder is harder to apply but really adds rigidity to my nails without making them thick like acrylic dips can. Very happy with my DiY manicures and not going to a salon. And: I still haven’t figured out gel pedicures"

My cuticles are hopeless

"I'm sure I haven't been using the serum often enough to achieve the results others seem to be seeing. But it seemed to make my nail polish cloudy, so I've only been using it between polishes. My nails are horrible and I'm new to efforts to improve them, but so far, I'm loving other products I've purchased from Olive & June!"

"This serum is perfect if you don't like oily feeling or just don't want to deal with it right away, my only criticism is that the fluffy bit tends to shed it self onto your nails and fingers and that's pretty annoying. I wouldn't buy this again but if it's what your searching for I would go for it."

"This serum has changed the health of my nails for the better in less than 3 weeks! It's so hydrating and fast absorbing, makes for a quick and easy application. I only wish there was a way to tell how much serum is left in the tube and that there was more of it for the price! The sponge also starts to disintegrate a little towards the end of its life leaving pieces on your fingers. However this will stay stocked as its become a staple in my nail care routine."

How will I know I’m getting low on serum so I can order more before it runs out? Your products take a long time to get to me once they ship and I don’t want to be out of the serum for long as I really like it. Thanks.: Thank for reaching out! A fresh Cuticle Serum takes about 15-20 clicks to get started, and after that takes about 2-3 clicks per hand! It will tell you when it's ready for a replacement but with regular use lasts 1-2 months!

I think my cuticle pen is empty…I watched the tutorial, clicked it 3 times and there is nothing coming out. Pressed it on my nail bed a bit, nothing. Tried several times. Tried numerous clicks several times up to 10, 3 times. I received my kit as a gift. I love the kit and the fabulous colors. Is there a more earth friendly alternative for the cuticle serum pen? I can’t justify buying non-refillable pens. Maybe a glass container you could dip the foam tip into?
