Always Love Olive & June, the Martini Chrome doesn't seem to live up

"I have been using Olive and June since 2020 and absolutely love every product I have tried, before this order. My go-tos are WKF and AW. They last a long time and I get so many compliments on the colors. I had a bottle of WKF in this order. Since I love the neutral green of the WKF I thought I would also try the Martini Chrome for a bit of shimmer in this order. I have tried it twice now and neither time has it lived up to what I expect out of O&J polish. First time I used it on its own and the color seemed too thin and not saturated enough. I also noticed it seemed to wear a bit more than most O&J colors. The second time I used a coat of WKF under it, to give a more saturated base and while the color looked better, it definitely wore at the ends of my nails quickly. I typically get over a week, sometimes close to 2 out of my O&J manicures, before I need to redo them. I got about 4 days out of the last round with the Martini Chrome unfortunately. I would still wear it, layered on the WKF, but only if I had something that I really wanted shimmer for, not when I want my normal powerhouse manicure. In any other brand, I might not have even noticed, but O&J has always had quality above and beyond the typical polish brand. I still love the products and will sing the praises of O&J, but think that maybe the formula of the Chrome polish needs a bit of tweaking to be on par with the rest of the line."

"Absolutely love Olive & June’s Cruise Control A! The ultra-light pastel mint green is the perfect soft, fun color for spring and summer and gives such a clean, fresh vibe. As a working mom of 3 busy kids, I do not have time for salon appointments or polish that chips after two days. This polish seriously lasts me about 2 weeks, even with constant cleaning, cooking, and running around.
