How to create effects:
Velvet Effect: Wave the rectangular side of the wand over each nail for an all-over shimmering velvet effect.
Cateye Effect: Place your finger over the rectangular side of the magnet while you paint
French Tip: Place your finger over the magnet while you paint the top with magnetic polish.
Circle Effect: Hold the circular end of the magnet over your nail immediately after painting
Note: Magnetic polish must be freshly applied (still wet) for the wand to work.

"Disappointing that the wand did not work at all on these two colors. (Which is why I bought them!) I do like both colors as stand alone colors without the magnetic affect though. They should just be advertised as such."

"I ordered this as a present for my daughter. I was very impressed with Wanda. I thought it would be hard plastic, but it is a flexible, higher-quality material. Can’t wait to give it to her so she can try it out. The colors were more muted than I was expecting. The sapphire velvet has very little blue in it and looks grayish/silver. The jade velvet also has less green than I thought it would. However, as I have not yet gifted these, I have only seen them in the bottles. The colors may be more vibrant once they are painted and dry."

"I LOVE the colors of this duo. They're beautifully shimmery--they look almost silver but with a hint of the blue or green. The magnetic effect leaves something to be desired, though. Even after trying a few times, I couldn't tell much of a difference on the nails I used the magnet on versus the ones I didn't."
