I joined Olive & June in February 2023 and began exclusively doing at-home manicures with Olive & June in September 2023. My first Olive & June polish was HD, which, in hindsight, was quite ambitious for a first try, but it pushed me to improve my skills quickly! My all-time favorite mani was one I did in March this year, inspired by the book cover of This Could Be Us by Kennedy Ryan. The design included elements from Biggest Bow, Flowerpot, and Is It Too Much? and perfectly captured the vibrant and heartfelt essence of the story. Each stroke and color choice was a fun challenge and the end result made me feel incredibly proud. It’s a mani that always brings back fond memories as I also went to meet Kennedy for her book launch event. #OYC

“Flowerpot” (purchased) by oliveandjune from their 2023 summer collection…. This is described by O&J as a burnt orange terracota and it did match my flowerpot outside on the front porch 🤪. The formula is on the crelly side, so easy to paint and self leveling. I did three coats for full opacity and finished my mani with my Super Glossy Topcoat…. There is often in each seasonal collection a polish color that takes me completely by surprise for how much I love it. Flowerpot is that one for summer’s Postcard from Paradiso Collection. It is not my favorite from the collection (#bocceballlove 💚🫶🏻) but it is a close second. I was especially surprised by this given that orange is not usually my jam. 🍊I have had this mani for several days & don’t want to take it off.
