Nothing switches up your look quite like changing up your nail shape. When you're making a big change in length like from long oval to short round โ we always recommend ensuring you have some polish on your nail so you can see the final shape as you shape.
Sometimes the whites of your nails can be uneven which can lead to uneven shaping. If you have a lot of length to lose, we like to do a big initial chop to get your nails down to a more manageable length.
Then clip around the tip of your nail in tiny clips to achieve a round shape.
Then use the nail file to smooth the clips and achieve a perfectly round tip. Move the file in one direction to avoid shredding your nail and causing peels.
