Our new lamp is a salon-quality 5 finger lamp that was engineered to perfectly cure your Olive & June gel mani. Some gel lamps on the market are designed to cure 4 fingers at a time, or even 1 - our goal was to create a lamp that cures your entire hand at once, giving you the fastest at home gel mani experience possible.
We wanted the curing experience to be as easy as possible, so we designed our lamp to have one button to cure all your gel mani steps.
What's up with wattage?
For the most optimal output of our LED lamp, a 15 W minimum power supply is suggested. If you use a power supply that is less than that, you will not get the most optimal LED output. If you use the provided cord with the recommended power supply (15W), the power consumption is 15W.
LED Bulbs
Our lamp uses LED bulbs, so let’s talk about them.
LED refers to the type of bulb used in the lamp, not the type of ray. The type of rays emitted by the LED bulbs are UV. All gel polish requires UV to cure.
Does the lamp cause sun damage or skin cancer?
There is no data that proves a connection between gel lamp usage and sun damage or skin cancer. In fact, you are likely to experience more sun damage driving to the post office to pick up your lamp than you are using it. If you’d like additional protection, we recommend using fingerless gloves or applying SPF to the backs of your hands.
