I would also like to issue an official apology for talking smack about the Quick Dry formula. I originally didn’t love it because I thought they were difficult to paint, dried with bubbles, and chipped more easily. I don’t know if they changed the formula or if I was just super wrong, but, they’re delightful now! A thin consistency and easy to paint, and they dry so fast. I’m loving them! I do still prefer the original long lasting formula, but Quick Dry is fun too.

Happy Monday! My oliveandjune fall box finally came and I knew ‘Luxe Loafer’ and ‘Shaket’ would my first picks. But I pivoted at the last moment and painted ‘It’s Chilly’. There’s just something about a creamy, beige mani. 😍 And it’s not easy to find the perfect shade for darker skin tones, but this is a color that will look good on a range of skin tones. I’ll be wearing white, cream, tan, year round.

My next fall shade spotlight: It’s Chilly 🤍
This shade is like all my favorite neutrals wrapped into one!
👉🏻It’s not quite white, not quite pink. Truly timeless but with that hint of beige, it feels on-trend and fresh too. If you love the look of white but are scared to try it, you’d love this shade!
👉🏻It’s Chilly is reminiscent of Ballet Slippers (IYKYK), only slightly more beige. It’s got that creamy opacity that’s always neutral, always chic, and always so pretty.
👉🏻Even though it’s pretty opaque, I found this shade quite easy to paint so I would call it beginner-friendly. It’s definitely not chalky or thick, and the 2 coats layered nicely.
👉🏻I think It’s Chilly would make a beautiful French tip! I’m also thinking about layering on an ombre of different toppers for a new take on an opal-inspired mani I did a while back. It’s Chilly would also be a great choice for a high-contrast skittles mani!
👉🏻I got a pedicure this week and I’m currently wearing It’s Chilly on my toes - and it’s truly perfection.

Perfect choice for today as it’s *actually* a bit chilly this morning after Hurricane Hilary.
This polish is a bit tougher to paint than the rest because it’s white pigmented heavy. It’s described as a creamy beige.
Many beiges look too yellow on me to like, but this pulls slightly pink on me making it look great for a neutral!
