Let’s talk Builder Gel Removal.
We know that gel removal can be a pain, but removing an Olive & June builder gel manicure is easy! There are two ways to remove:
-
If you used our Peel-Off Base Coat, use the cuticle pusher to gently lift the builder gel polish all around the edges of the nail.
Once the borders are lifted, peel off the gel without damaging your natural nail. All gone!
-
If you did not use the Peel-Off Base Coat, grab your Salon Speed Soak Off System.
Using the coarser side of the nail file, file away as much gel polish as possible.
Go slowly to avoid filing your natural nail.
Soak the rounded edge of the foam sponge with the acetone.
Tip: Using too much acetone will cause it to leak and make a mess, so use it sparingly.
Insert the foam sponge into the silicone cap, rounded side first.
Place your finger inside the cap with your nail touching the foam sponge.
Allow your nails to soak for 10-15 minutes.
Slide off the silicone cap, using the foam sponge to wipe away any gel residue.
If any gel remains, resoak as necessary. Don't force off your gel to avoid damaging your natural nail.
