HOW TO USE IT
To pair with The Poppy, remove polish bottle overcap before attaching to the smaller inner cap.
Slide The Poppy onto the smaller inner cap or brush handle.
Tip: To position The Poppy on a brush like ours, find the brush's flat edge, mark the polish's inner cap accordingly with a marker, and slide on your Poppy perfectly every time.
With a firm grip on The Poppy, twist to remove your brush from the bottle. Adjust as desired. Apply smooth and streak-free in three strokes or less.
5 EASY STEPS TO SALON-PERFECT MANIS
Clip 90% into the desired shape and file the last 10% of the shape.
Remove old polish and gently push back your cuticles with your thumb. Carefully buff away excess skin and smooth any ridges or peels in light, circular motions. Dip every nail (again!) in the Remover Pot before painting.
POPPY + PAINT
Anchor your arm and hand on a flat surface. Paint in 2-3 thin coats. Your first coat should be streaky! Let each coat dry for at least 5-10 minutes before you apply the next coat. Any mistakes? Your Clean Up Brush (dipped in the Remover Pot) will fix any stray polish that you want gone.
Apply a thin layer of your Super Glossy Top Coat to make your mani last.
Once your nails are dry, apply 2-3 clicks of Cuticle Serum every day to your cuticles and sides of your nails.
painted my nails wonderfully with the poppy. had so much control. my only issue was when i tried to take the poppy off the nail cap. it got stuck and now it just sitting inside the poppy and i can’t get it out . any suggestions ?
Hi Morgan! I'm so sorry to hear that your Poppy is stuck. It helps to wait for your nails to dry fully, then twists what you can off the cap onto the polish and rock the Poppy gently from side to side to loosen it off the polish cap. You can also try to use tweezers to pull the cap out! When using the Poppy, it can just rest on the cap lid, leaving a little bit of the white poking out at the bottom, to still work perfectly. Please let us know if you need anything else at all. We're here to help!
This is my third time and I decided to do red. I’ve added a picture of my left hand (I’m left handed) and used the poppy on my right hand. So much better.
Poppy works great and so good on toes. Love the itty bitty poppy for the mini bottles.
This has been on my radar for awhile. I do pretty well with painting my nails, but do struggle a bit with dark/bright colors painting with my non-dominant hand. I don't know how this works but it does! I'm so proud of my nails. It somehow helps my keep the paint from the cuticles and makes it look so neat. So happy I bought it.
Makes the polish brush much easier to hold.
Doesn’t really help and hard to line up with the bristles.
Hi Lisa! I'm so sorry to hear that the Poppy was not a good match for you. I have reached out to you via email to assist you.
I think this is a fantastic product for those who need it. However, I am good at painting my nails and have a steady hand. When I use the poppy it doesn’t make any difference for me with respect to speed or accuracy.
This handy tool really makes applying polish easier!
I was skeptical about all the hype, but the poppy actually works so well! It truly makes it easy to control the nail brush and is the main reason why I’ve switched to O&J - I just can’t get as neat of a manicure without out. This is the best!
Helps to hold the polish brush well.
